BIOGRAPHY

Timothy L. Boyer is a student at the University of Virginia studying biomedical engineering. He graduated from Wakefield, a small private school in The Plains, Virginia in 2017. In high school, he conducted his own research on the effect of the social environment on cichlid color and behavior as part of his self-designed independent study: "Developmental plasticity and epigenetics." He took a total of eight science classes throughout high school.
